About Valerie Maksym
In 2016 Valerie became a certified Life Coach with the John Maxwell program. She is a student of learning all she can when it comes to life coaching, mindset training and self development. Valerie is currently in the Atmana coaching academy. She often get asked what is a life coach? A life coach is someone who helps guide you, though giving you a series of questions and a safe space to think and talk out loud as you come to your own truth in finding the solutions to your questions. Through life coaching transformation will take place. You will become an entirely new person at then end of your coaching program.
The butterfly was once a caterpillar, however the butterfly was transformed and will never go back to being a caterpillar. During your time with a coach you will continue to transform yourself into the person you are looking to become. Awareness is key if change is to take place. We can not change what we do not acknowledge. So shedding awareness on a situation can be a life changing experience for a client. A coach is there to guide and show you things you may not otherwise see on your own. Once you see it for yourself, then you can change the situation as you see fit. The answers always lie within, a good coach will ask the right questions and you will then be able to come up with solutions to overcome every obstacle you have set before you. This will take place in layers. You didn’t get to where you are at overnight. It will take some time peeling back the layers of the onion so to speak, to get to the center of the real issue. As each layer comes off you will find more clarity and a sense of hope as you are on your way to your ultimate breakthrough.
Valerie's Who Am I Program
- Who are you today? Who do you want to become? Discussing what it means to live an authentic life and why it is so important.
- Identifying negative self-talk/ limiting beliefs, replace them with positive affirmations.
- Develop Self-love, self-confidence and courage. We will discuss and identify love languages as well.
- Forgiveness of self and others and the impact that forgiveness has on moving forward.
- Letting down walls and allowing yourself to be vulnerable in order to reach success, find love and reach all your goals and dreams. The walls kept the bad out but are also keeping the good out so they must be lowered.
- Identify core values and find your purpose. Walking in your purpose brings fulfillment, and happiness.
